      Bally

Guests sat amidst fogs filling the room as if people were high up in the Swiss mountain surrounded by panoramic images of alpine landscape brought into the middle of Tokyo while Swiss leather goods brand Bally celebrated its 160 years and the opening of flagship in Tokyo. Reaffirming Bally’s legacy of being the first shoes to have reached 8000-meter-high Mount Everest in 1953 when Sir Edmund Hillary and his climbing companion Sherpa Tenzing Norgay conquered the mountain wearing Bally’s reindeer leather boots, guests were brought up above the clouds to have dinner inspired by chalet setting. Meanwhile, artist Daito Manabe and Setsuya Kurotaki played contemporary music which emphasized the brand is not clinging to the heritage but also contemporary and young.
